Ahem... excuse the technical difficulties of the past 2 weeks, been uh... yeah

Anyways, lets check out some news we got goin down....

Eminem has dropped the title Relapse 2...
Which was supposed to drop last year, instead this year in June we will recieve "Recovery". Hmmmmm, a lot of mixed reviews on Relapse, but people seem to be waiting for this material saying that the recent features and freestyles he's made sound like "the old Em". Either way, dope music will be made.

Shyne throws a jab at 50 Cent
Shyne's newly release Unthinkable Remix takes a jab at 50, if you didn't know, these two have been exchanging lines for some years now, check it out... I'm not sure what to think of the track tho, nothing too exciting for me...

Shyne- Unthinkable Remix

NEW Pair-A-Dyce TRACK COMING TOMORROW
I'm gonna go ahead and start throwing out a few songs from Pair-A-Dyce Vol. 2, tomrrow y'all can feast your chops on So Gone featuring Chris Moss and Soul Native... I'm looking for a producer and an artist to work with on music also, just some people willing to release project after project and make good music, hit me up if that's you... be ready snitches, I'm out

wtf @ The Internet has done

You know when I was growing up (I say this as if I'm in my 40s or something), the internet was cool and new, it was in a sense, a new experience. Nowadays, I'm easily bored after browsing 15 minutes because I feel like I've done and seen it all; gross pictures, the instant messengers, the rise of myspace and social networks, the forums, instant news feed, youtube's rise, all of it. To me, it ain't shit, and I don't feel any connection really to the internet, I use it to keep in touch with people and fans, but if I could I'd do that in person, I have no strong desire to be fixed to a computer.

I bring this up because I see shit lol... shit like young girls on twitter saying they look up to "Katstacks" who is basically a industry prostitute, people clamoring to be signed and famous, and celebrities exposing themselves, it all just boggles my mind cause these people are my age and younger and caught up in this mess. I can understand why but the more attached you are to the screen, the less attached you become in life...

Log off sometimes

Man do y'all know people have some messed up ideas about how music should be?

Just reading some recent conversations, I noticed there are now "standards" for how music should sound... Yeah, there is obviously a difference between a well put together song and some off-beat incoherent mess, but I mean as far as someone just starting out to get comfortable making music, I've seen some people feel like just because they do this and that, they don't have to drop back down to a beginners level to accomadate what they are doing... Damn, I remember like yesterday using a $10 mic with a sock on it, screaming into my built-in laptop mic, and then finally learning how to rap standing up for once when I finally got some real equipment, so I'm not mad at anyone trying to do something they enjoy, more power to them I say. I think it's just the internet man, the people on here amass such an ego, it's hard to tame. I don't think there really is a good or bad song, music is subjective to the listener, what may sound bad to you, may sound great to someone else for way different reasons. People shouldn't waste so much time trying to define art, art defines itself.

I'm gonna start using this as kinda like a daily blog... I dunno yet, see how it goes... but I'm just gonna use this as a place to vent and shit.

First and foremost, I think I'm gonna hurry up and finish Vol. 2. Not like some rush job shit, but just cause dealing with people involved with music is so time consuming and draining. I've poured so many hours in this, and heard so many lies from people saying they'll do this, and that, or they'll help with this and that, that I'm really starting to not give a damn. Sad, but I still love music, don't get me wrong, I'm not going to quit, but I don't feel like I really get much support from anybody, and fighting a battle with a small crew only lasts for so long (see 300). So I'm gonna finish up Vol. 2, me and RXL's project, and do work with Rediculus, but unless some drastic event occurs where it's beneficial for me to drain myself and my life in this, after all that's done, I'm strictly rappin for fun doin features and a few songs hear and there.

I've heard of people being homeless, quitting their jobs, being robbed, stabbed, shot, selling drugs, etc. All sorts of shit just to be an entertainer... I want to hear some positive stories from an engineer, or a lawyer, or a doctor, who goes through the same shit people do to be in the entertainment industry, that would be inspirational like that movie Pursuit Of Happiness. I'm not mad or nothing, or bitter, but becoming a somebody in a world full of "celebrities" is no easy road unless you have lots of $$$$. People don't see that.
